Sana Javaid

Architect, Landscape Planner, Urban Ecologist

Sana Javaid is an architect by profession and a postgraduate from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. She is currently pursuing doctoral research at the Chair for Strategic Landscape Planning and Management, Technical University of Munich, Germany funded by DAAD. She has previously worked with Delhi based architecture firms and as an assistant professor at DIT University, Dehradun for over three years.

 

She has been practicing architecture for a decade now and is also an adjunct research fellow with a Dehradun based research organisation CEDAR. Her expertise lies in climate responsive architecture, accessibility planning, urban ecology and landscape urbanism.
